Take I-66 west to exit 43A -Gainesville/Warrenton, Route 29-. Take Route 29 south to Warrenton, then 29 business route through Warrenton. Pickup U.S. 211 West and follow U.S. 211 to the top of the mountains and the entrance of Shenandoah National Park -Thornton Gap-. After entering Shenandoah National park, travel south on the Skyline Drive for 10 miles to Skyland.
Take I-95 north to Fredericksburg. Take second exit off I-95 onto Route 3, West for Culpeper. Follow Route 3 into Culpeper and proceed north on U.S. 522 into Sperryville, VA. Stay on Route 522 to junction of U.S. 211. Take U.S. 211 west to Thornton Gap -entrance into Shenandoah National park-. Once in the park travel south 10 miles to Skyland.
Take I-81 north to I-64 east. Stay on I-64 Afton Mountain. At Afton Mountain you will enter into the Southern entrance of Shenandoah National Park. stay on Skyline Drive for approximately 74 miles.
